Privacy Policy

GeoTek PR, LLC ("GeoTek PR," "we," "us") is a geospatial technology integrator based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through geotekpr.com, through our advertising, through the GeoNET RTK correction service, and when you contact or buy from us. It also explains how we use, share and protect that information, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us

Purchases and invoicing	Billing name, company, postal address, email, phone, purchase order, and tax-exemption information where applicable
Support and warranty requests	Equipment model and serial number, a description of the issue, and any files, photos or field data you choose to send
Training registration	Participant name, employer, contact details, and attendance records

We do not receive or store your full credit card or bank account numbers. Payments are processed by PayPal or ATH Móvil, and their privacy policies govern the payment data you give them.

1.2 Information collected when you use GeoNET

To deliver RTK corrections, your GNSS receiver connects to the GeoNET service using the credentials we issue. During each session the service processes:

• your GeoNET username and connection times;
• the IP address of the device connecting;
• the position messages (NMEA GGA) your receiver sends, which contain your receiver's location. These messages are needed to select the nearest reference station (the "AUTO" mountpoint) and to generate corrections for your location;
• technical session data, such as the mountpoint used, data volume, and connection quality.

Position data is processed to provide and maintain the service. We do not use it to track you or to market to you, and we do not sell it.

1.3 Information collected automatically on the website

When you visit geotekpr.com, our servers and the tools we use may record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the page or advertisement that referred you (including campaign tags in the link), and the time of your visit. We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies for:

• Essential functions: keeping the site and its forms secure and working correctly.
• Analytics: understanding which pages are useful and how visitors find us, using Google Analytics.
• Lead tracking: our forms and customer management system (GoHighLevel) record which campaign, advertisement and page brought you to us, so we can respond to you and measure which advertising works.
• Advertising: we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. These tell Meta when you visit our pages or submit a form, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site. When you submit a form, contact details such as your email or phone may be sent to Meta in a hashed (coded) form so Meta can match the event to an account. Meta's use of this information is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Embedded content: videos (Vimeo) and fonts (Google Fonts) load from those providers, which may receive your IP address.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work without essential cookies. See Section 7 for how to limit advertising.

1.4 Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from:

• Advertising platforms, such as Meta, when you interact with our ads or submit a form linked to them;
• Manufacturers or partners, when you request a GeoTek PR quote through them;
• Current customers who refer you to GeoNET under our referral program;
• Public sources, to confirm business information.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

1. respond to quotes, demo requests, and questions, including automatic confirmations and reminders;
2. create, verify, activate, renew, and support GeoNET accounts;
3. process orders, invoices, payments, warranty claims and repairs;
4. deliver training and issue certificates of participation;
5. send service notices, such as credential delivery, maintenance windows, renewal reminders, and changes that affect accuracy or coordinates (for example, reference-frame or datum updates);
6. send product news and offers, if you have not opted out;
7. measure our advertising and show our ads to people likely to be interested, including people who visited our website;
8. run our referral program, including telling the person who referred you that you signed up;
9. improve our website, products, and services;
10. protect our systems and prevent fraud or misuse, including credential sharing;
11. meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Service providers that work for us under confidentiality obligations: Microsoft (email and forms), GoHighLevel (website forms, customer management, and automated email), Google (analytics and calendar scheduling), PayPal and ATH Móvil (payments), our website hosting provider, our marketing agency (Formas Design Studio), and WhatsApp/Meta when you choose to communicate with us by WhatsApp.
• Advertising partners. Meta receives website and form events, and hashed contact details, as described in Section 1.3, to measure our ads and to help us reach people who visited our website. We may also share hashed contact lists of our customers with Meta to exclude them from ads or to reach similar audiences. Meta cannot read the original email or phone from the hashed data.
• GeoNET network infrastructure provider. The reference stations and correction servers behind GeoNET are operated with a technology partner. It processes your connection data and receiver position messages (Section 1.2) on our behalf, only to deliver the service. Its servers may be located outside Puerto Rico and the United States.
• Manufacturers and software partners (for example AlphaGEO, 3Dsurvey, and WISPR Systems), when needed to register a warranty, activate a software license, process a repair, or fulfill an order you placed.
• The person who referred you. If you enter a referrer's name when you request a GeoNET trial, we may tell that person that you activated a trial or subscribed. We do not share any other information with them.
• Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
• Business transfers: if GeoTek PR is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the successor, subject to this Policy.

4. International processing

GeoTek PR is located in Puerto Rico. Some of our providers process data in the continental United States or in other countries. When we use them, we require them to protect your information in line with this Policy.

5. How long we keep information

6. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including access controls, two-factor authentication on administrative accounts, and encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our website. No system is completely secure. Please keep your GeoNET credentials private and tell us right away if you think they have been exposed.

If a security breach affects personal information covered by Puerto Rico law (including usernames and passwords), we will notify affected people as quickly as possible and inform the Puerto Rico Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) within the period required by law (Act No. 111 of 2005, as amended).

7. Your choices

• Marketing email: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message, or by writing to sales@geotekpr.com. We will still send service notices about your account.
• WhatsApp messages: when you submit a form, you agree that we may contact you by WhatsApp about your request. Reply "BAJA" or "STOP" at any time and we will stop sending you messages there.
• Advertising: you can limit ads based on your activity in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block third-party cookies in your browser. You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about you with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
• Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may keep information we are legally required to retain, or that we need to complete a transaction or resolve a dispute.
• Cookies: manage them through your browser settings.

Send requests to sales@geotekpr.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.

8. Children

Our website and services are for professionals and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Links to other sites

Our site links to third-party websites, such as manufacturers and PayPal. Their own privacy policies apply to the information you give them.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will notify active customers by email.
